Star Wars Battlefront Features Dedicated Servers

Star Wars: Battlefront senior producer Jamie Keen has shed some light on what players can expect when they play as some of the characters featured in the upcoming game. Killing enemies using a hero or villain character will extend the usage time slightly, Game Rant wrote. Although DICE is yet to detail the exact mechanic of the skill-based matchmaking system, fans have speculated that players can only go up against players who are in the same rank as them.

“Our goal was to give an average player around two minutes as a Hero or Villain”, Keen explained. They said it’s unlikely you can play as a famous character for the entire duration of the match. “The Force Push is a gratifying move that will send imperial troops flying, and Saber Rush lets you use the Force to propel yourself extremely quickly for a lightning-fast attack”.

I doubt I will be any good at Star Wars Battlefront, although it does sound like it will be a whole lot of fun to play with your friends, assuming you can get everyone in the group to stop all trying to pick Boba Fett. “That said, the gauntlet is thrown!” said Keen. Fans have been seeing numerous gameplay trailers that include players taking control of iconic characters such as Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker during these battles. Heroes and Villains have health that constantly decreases.

By all accounts, “Star Wars Battlefront” looks to be a hit in the making. DICE revealed that heroes in the game can used in a limited amount of time to in order to balance these hero type characters to the regular soldier units. It will feature a variety of online and offline modes, including Drop Zone and Walker Assault.
