Fantasy owners began panicking when LeSean McCoy picked up a hamstring injury in the preseason, which affected his Week 1 performance against the Colts last week. The Bills abandoned the running game when they fell behind, leaving McCoy with little to do in the second half.
Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy will play Sunday against the Patriots, but probably will be limited in some fashion. McCoy was on the field for warm ups and didn’t show any signs of being slowed. If McCoy goes down to injury, Williams would instantly become a viable fantasy starter.
“I don’t even want to think that way, but yeah, it would be definitely [next man up]”, Ryan said, via ESPN.com. If McCoy cannot play, Karlos Williams will start in his spot. The rookie had a nice debut of 55 yards and one touchdown.
“He’s a big back with speed and power”.
