Dallas Still Strong Without Bryant and Romo?

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones just received two heartbreaking news about two of the prized players in his franchise, including the possible season-ending injury sustained by the team’s quarterback Tony Romo. Their next four games will go a long way toward determining their outcome. “Your body kind of goes into a little bit of shock”, the quarterback said in a Yahoo Sports report.

Romo had completed 18 of his 27 passes for 195 yards at the time of the injury, the latest blow to a Dallas team that could be without All-Pro receiver Dez Bryant until December after he broke a small bone in his foot during last week’s season opener. The injury caused him to miss the last ten games of the season. He said he knew immediately it was broken again. And if Romo makes it back this year, he gets to play them at least once, and possibly twice. Stuff happens – it’s the NFL. “It’s about how you handle it, how you approach it individually and collectively as a team”. The Ravens are another team to have been hit by injury to a key player. With injuries to superstar WR Dez Bryant and TE Jason Witten, and a struggling run game this not a recipe for success.

He’s not going to get it, probably, but it has to feel good, even for a righteous man as himself, to see a team that released him doing so poorly.

“We weren’t even set” Kelly said. That is not exactly a news flash, but the passing game was obviously limited because Bryant wasn’t in the lineup.

“It’s just a fractured collarbone”, Romo said.

The same could be said for the secondary, who limited any big plays down the field and only yielded a touchdown pass to Jordan Matthews during garbage time at the end of the fourth quarter.

Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford had three turnovers, including an interception in the end zone. Myers had a poor first game of the season, missing an extra-point and a field goal but was also successful from 58 yards and 27 yards against the Dolphins.

The former Browns first-round pick is 5-16 as a starter however.

Weeden, who finished 7 of 7 for 73 yards, started 15 games for Cleveland in 2012 as a 29-year-old rookie. Maybe Dallas will sign @TimTebow. He ended up spraining both ankles and twisting a knee, but he still managed to catch a game-high seven passes for 56 yards.

“I have a lot of confidence in Brandon”, Garrett said. He made some plays.

The worst-case scenario for the Dallas Cowboys unfolded before our eyes on Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia. “Our guys did a great job handling the tempo, we were ready for them, and once the ball snapped we did a really good job – preventing them from running the football”.
