The new song Magnets is entrancing not only because of the slow-yet-powerful beat, but also because of Lorde’s vocals that work effortlessly with Disclosure‘s electronica vibe.

As if that wasn’t enough excitement for fans, the duo sent out a surprise tweet this afternoon revealing that they have recorded a new track with New Zealand’s finest, Lorde. “Magnets” premiered with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 and can be heard below. Disclosure recently talked with The Rolling Stones about their expierence with Lorde.
“It’s a nautical term, you hear about it with ships”, Guy Lawrence added.
“She turned up on her own, no management or bodyguard”.
“First records are like meeting someone and feeling that need to do everything, just in case for whatever reason, you run out of time, or they stop feeling the same way as you”. (I don’t know why but this was the first word that came up on my mind to describe it).
