Jenner was involved in a four-car pileup on the Pacific Coast Highway in which she rear-ended a Lexus driven by Kim Howe. The other driver was killed.

Even if Jenner doesn’t get prosecuted for manslaughter, it’s still possible that the victims of the crash or their estate could sue her for in civil court for millions of dollars.

Sources within the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office toldTMZ that the people assigned to review the case have deemed her role in the February accident was negligent but not criminal. However, Jenner is not completly in the clear, the D.A. can still choose to ignore all the findings and move on with the case if she feels necessary.

Chris Pizzello/Chris Pizzello/Invision/AP Prosecutors are now weighing a misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter case against the “I Am Cait” star.

“We’re told the people making the decision are also relying on the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept., which investigated and came up with the same conclusion”. Jenner was actually driving below the speed limit, but at an unsafe speed for the road conditions that day, the report determined.

Admitting she couldn’t say more due to legal reasons, she added:

“A tragedy like this, you’ll never get over it. You just learn to live with it the best you possibly can.”

She then addressed the possibility she could in fact land in jail.
