The meditative MC Escher-esque game Monument Valley launched just a year ago, making waves around the gaming industry with its artful optical illusions and intuitive gameplay.
The world of Ustwo’s Land’s End, an upcoming virtual-reality game for Samsung’s GearVR headset. As there are no wires connecting players to a desktop machine the controls are based on gaze and head tracking, allowing a greater freedom to explore the unusual world ustwo has created.
“When we first got our hands on a Gear VR kit, we spent two to three months trying to find a way for people to move around this world without feeling sick”, said Peter Pashley, technical director of Ustwo Games.
