Rubio staffer won’t be charged for shoving incident

Rand Paul’s presidential campaign is known for talking tough on the issues, but an actual punch in a Michigan bar is causing an eruption. Marco Rubio allegedly threw a punch at a Michigan consultant working for Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is accusing a rival staffer with Sen.

“In 2007, when I served as Communications Director of the Arizona Republican Party, Rich Beeson physically assaulted me when he served as the Political Director of the Republican National Committee”, Mecum continued.

Meanwhile, the Mackinac Island Police Department is looking into the incident as well and Yob plans to press charges.

Yob said the incident, which occurred at the city of Mackinac Island, was captured “on video, from multiple angles”. “This will play out in the national media in the next few hours”, he rightfully predicted on Facebook.

A call to Beeson went to voicemail and wasn’t immediately returned.

“If anything, it was a shove”, Mackinac Island police Chief Brett Riccinto told Britain’s The Guardian.

Paul is scheduled to speak at the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference on Saturday evening.

John Yob, the chief strategist of Paul’s 2016 campaign in Michigan, made the allegations on Facebook and Twitter, identifying the staffer as Rich Beeson, Rubio’s deputy campaign manager. It’s the kind of place one would assume solves problems with a well-placed, “I said good day, sir”. But when they asked Republicans who they thought lost the debate, the big loser was Rand Paul, getting a thumbs down by 32 percent of those polled. Earlier this year, Yob told police that he was assaulted twice by his wife, Erica Yob, in a course of 24 days. “I guess maybe duck next time?”

Hall also claims to have video of the scuffle. “Sorry I didn’t realize it was a real situation”.

The video-grainy security camera footage taken at 12:10 a.m. early Friday morning-shows a group of people milling around a bar.
