The Germany global is already contracted to the club until 2018, having signed a five-year contract upon his £42.4 million move from Real Madrid in 2013.
‘Yes, Fenerbahce wants to sign Mesut Ozil.
Meanwhile, defender Monreal has already been offered a new terms, with a three-year extension on the table.
According to MailOnline’s Sami Mokbel, Ozil is to be offered an improvement on his current £140,000-a-week deal-he is the top earner at the club-to extend his stay at the Emirates.
Ozil, a third-generation Turkish-German, has made no secret of his love for Fenerbahce and has been public in his desire to feature for the club in the future.
Ozil, who has Turkish ancestry, is understood to be happy in north London and will put pen to paper on a new Gunners deal soon.

It is now claimed, however, that the deal contains a buy-out clause that allows him to leave for £3.5million in the winter transfer window – and only £3million next summer, which is sure to attract plenty of Premier League interest. That, at least, is according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
