DICE explains Star Wars Battlefront’s hero system – How you’ll find and use

Star Wars: Battlefront will have dedicated servers, coming out 19th November in the United Kingdom, for PS4, Xbox One and the PC. Your health will decrease over time. There has been some confusion over how they will be accessed, so DICE shared a post detailing the Heroes and Villains systems of Battlefront. The game will be focused on online multiplayer battles, so developer DICE should be keen on providing players with an excellent server.

Keen stated that their goal was to give players two minutes to be there favorite Star Wars character and if the player is that good during the gameplay, they can extend the use of that character for about five minutes or more depending on the situation. Players will not be able to choose which of the heroes or villains they will be controlling since that is also randomly selected. Will it be enough to compel you to reach the max rank to unlock everything in it? He can also perform a heavy attack with his lightsaber that lets him take out multiple targets at once. Keen elaborated, “In theory, you could play as Luke Skywalker for a whole match, but that is extremely unlikely”. At the moment, only Luke Skywalker’s had been detailed and they include Force Push and Saber Rush. These include Luke Skywalker, Boba Frett, Darth Vader and more. “That said, the gauntlet is thrown!” said Keen. Are any of you planning on playing the Battlefront beta?

Star Wars Website noted that the “Star Wars: Battlefront 3″ beta will be playable for both online and offline mode come its release date.

There’s also a Survival Mission on Tatooine where you and a Rebel friend will need to “first back waves of Imperial forces”, EA said. What’s more, the title is not going to offer players a server browser, instead relying exclusively on a new skill-based matchmaking system.
