An 8-month-old boy died after being left in a SUV outside a Wal-Mart in Macedonia, Ohio, according to news reports. The woman reportedly had no idea the child was left in the vehicle seat.

Benjamin was in a seat in the third row of the SUV when one of his parents dropped off his three siblings at daycare on Wednesday morning, Macedonia police Lieutenant Vince Yakopovich said.
Three to four hours later, the child’s grandmother drove the vehicle to her job at Walmart. She parked the auto, inadvertently leaving the boy in the back seat, the station reported.
On September 23, at approximately 5:35 p.m., the Macedonia Police and Fire Department’s were called to the Walmart, 8160 Macedonia Commons Blvd. for a unresponsive child in a vehicle. That’s when the child’s grandmother went to check the vehicle and found the baby dead inside. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday. The identity of the baby will be released once all family members are notified.
The baby was already dead when police arrived at Walmart.
Police say it is too early into the investigation to discuss if any charges will be filed.
