Guardiola will find it tough to refuse new offer: Rummenigge

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says no amount of money would prise Thomas Muller away from the club.

He scored his first when he came on as a substitute to make his debut for the club, netting against Liverpool in the 3-1 Premier League victory over their bitter rivals.

One thing is clear: we have a good team.

However, Bayern have already begun talks to keep Guardiola beyond this summer and Rummenigge is hopeful after the club tabled a “great offer”. I am definitely optimistic that Pep will stay beyond June 30, 2016.

Whilst Arsenal fans dream of a forward of Lewandowski’s calibre, it’s claimed they have a chance of securing his signature at the end of the season if they manage to get Pep Guardiola in as the next gaffer at the Emirates. The coach feels good.

Muller have scored 77 goals for Bayern Munich in his 203 appearances since 2008.

The former Barcelona manager has led Bayern to back-to-back Bundesliga titles in his tenure, but has been knocked out of the Champions League semi-finals in both campaigns since replacing Jupp Heynckes in 2013.

“We all want him to stay”, club legend Franz Beckenbauer said earlier this month.
