According to ComicBook.com, we will be seeing Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon), Lauren Cohen (Maggie Greene), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha), Andrew Lincoln and (Rick Grimes) to name a few. The last five episodes of Season 5 answered that question with Rick accepting an approach of unapologetic brutality in murdering Pete, a fellow Alexandrian.

AMC has also released clips and a few photos, amid previews of a fleshed-out comic backstory, while we’ve broken down the Season 6 trailer and previewed exactly how disgusting walkers will look, and all before digital FX.

Jesus also plays a major role, at least in the comics, in an eventual conflict with a group called The Saviors, who some speculate are being called The Wolves on TV.

Mainly, it means the arrival of Negan, the most imposing villain from Robert Kirkman’s comic book.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news Wednesday that Payne, 32, is joining Season 6 of the AMC series in a recurring role. Without giving away just what side of things Jesus is on, I’ll tell you that he’s essential to the bigger plot points going forward, especially those that lead to the comics’ biggest bad yet.

Media outlets are certain that this character is Negan and that he is coming to “The Walking Dead” season 6 soon. The Spoiling Dead Fans shared the description of a character named Orin, which fits the description of Negan.

The Walking Dead has officially cast Tom Payne to play Paul “Jesus” Monroe in the upcoming sixth season….

Showrunner Scott M. Gimple explained to THR: “There’s a particular story in that arc that I’m very excited for. We’ve structured it in a way that our characters are somewhat insulated from what’s really going on in the outside world throughout much of the season”.
