Bosh’s availability for the start of training camp indicates that he is no longer on blood-thinner medication.

After he was diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs earlier this year that ended his season, Bosh spent nine days in bed at a local hospital but was still able to catch Heat games using his iPad.

“I am released and ready for contact”.

These factors – in more ways than one – contributed to the Heat’s struggles, thus finishing with a measly 37-45 win-loss record good for 10 in the Eastern Conference. “I put it off for as long as I could but eventually I went to the doctor”. No. I take responsibility for it and that’s where it should be. If healthy, a starting lineup of Hassan Whiteside, Chris Bosh, Wade, Deng and Dragic can go toe-to-toe with any in the league. As the Heat look to recover from a season which saw them miss out on the playoffs, Spoelstra claims that the 33-year-old’s minutes will not be limited. Coach is going to run us. Josh McRoberts is also coming back healthy and it comes after he missed most of last season while dealing with a knee injury and surgery.

Furthermore, welcome additions such as veteran forwards Amare Stoudemire and Gerald Green, as well as highly touted rookie Justise Winslow provide versatility on the wings.

“That’s the most important thing about that is it affects so many people”, he said, “I’m sure we all in this room know somebody in our lives that had issues with blood clots”. “And we like the expectations that it brings”. The Heat can either be a middle of the road team or be the only team that pushes the Cleveland Cavaliers in the East. If health holds up, the Miami Heat are extremely risky and a dark horse championship team. Chalmers and forward Chris Andersen are due a combined $9.3 million this year, and there’s been plenty of speculation that the Heat could move one or both in a move to shed salary and potentially save some luxury-tax money.
