‘Kenan and Kel’ reunite for sketch on ‘Tonight Show’

The recurring sketch inspired the 1997 film of the same name. The chemistry between the two is clearly still there, and you can see that especially in a behind-the-scenes video where the two switched out their impressions and do a little bit of goofing off. After working together on their own comedy show and the Good Burger film, Kenan and Kel parted ways.

Kel played his aloof character Ed while Kenan played his frustrated construction worker Lester. Thompson howled after Ed misconstrued his order for a “Good shake”. Known for his huge online presence, Fallon will brings along with him numerous popular segments, celebrity sketches and musical parodies that fans have grown to love on “Late Night”, including #Hashtags, Thank You Notes and Slow Jam the News.

The Good Burger reunion comes after Nickelodeon recently announced that they are looking to revamp some of their other classic shows from the 90s such as Rugrats and Hey Arnold!

Kel returned to form as clueless Good Burger employee Ed as Fallon recalled his early days of earning an honest paycheck.

Kel even sang his famous song “I’m a dude, you’re a dude…”

The Mitchell and Kenan Thompson reunion was 15 years in the making, a moment millennials have begged for consistently with Facebook campaigns and GIF love letters. Thompson went on to become a player on Saturday Night Live, and now it looks as though Mitchell’s career is finally moving back into the right direction.

Homeboys and homegirls, it’s time for Kenan and Kel. The reunion could have only been improved if there had been orange soda involved. And, yes, Millennials, we could actually feel your excitement.
