“The singer, 35, is being held at a detention center on $20,000 bail, a spokesperson for the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office told People”, the story reports.

According to Clark’s arrest report, there were several instances where he violated a protective order his wife had against him. The court order also stated that Clark should only communicate with his wife regarding concerns for their children.

Monica says he began following her, and on one occasion, allegedly sat outside a restaurant where she was having dinner and stared at her for hours.

Clark, by the way, sued Fox after he was dropped from the show for not disclosing a prior arrest. I wish things were different with us. Monica proved the court with a number of emails showing how Clark had overstepped the boundaries.

The 35-year-old is allegedly now behind bars in Yuma, Ariz. after being arrested last night. After an initial felony charge, the judge changed the charge to misdemeanor domestic violence. After he got the boot, he claimed to have had a sexual relationship with former “Idol” judge Paula Abdul. A later investigation would find no proof that Abdul and Clark had an affair, according to an Associated Press report from the time.
