Coronation Street’s Callum Logan ‘favourite’ to be killed off in live episode
As befits a live episode, viewers are promised drama, comedy and tears.

The episode will follow the Platt family and their battle to shake-off drug dealer Callum Logan. What I have really enjoyed about it is that we have kind of thrown everything at it.
He has made quite the impact on the street (image: ITV).
Producers have struggled to track down Twitter user Adam, who won a competition to write a message on a blackboard at the Rovers’ Return usually reserved for pub specials.
So among the fictional revellers enjoying Lloyd (Craig Charles) and Andrea’s (Hayley Tamaddon) leaving do, was some genuine drama.
The cheeky soap star was, of course, referring to that now ICONIC scene in the EastEnders live episodes from earlier this year.
Fans were impressed with the show, which was shown live to mark 60 years of ITV.
The actor (who plays Ian Beale) tweeted a message praising the ITV soap’s cast and crew, before joking that he was wondering why no-one had asked where he was.
And, on closer inspection, the white chalk writing on it reads: ‘Katie Lowe, will you marry me?’
“Coronation Street” goes live tonight (23.09.15) at 7.30pm.
Sharp-eyed viewers spotted a clanger when Fiz’s newborn baby was referred to as a boy instead of a girl.
The only other mistake of note involved the Street’s Sally Webster entering the wreckage of Dev’s shop without a safety helmet. A claim which will undoubtedly be tested during the live episode.
He said: “I got called in for a meeting with Stuart Blackburn, the boss, and I thought I was in trouble”. “It was bad, it lasted for a month, waking up and saying ‘I know the line”.
Things turned murderous as he viciously attacked Sarah, only to be suddenly killed by Kylie with a single blow to the back of his head with one of Jason Grimshaw’s builders’ tools!
In fairness, it probably won’t take a lot to derail the tricky episode.
