Christian Benteke to miss next fortnight with hamstring injury
Christian Benteke will out of action for two weeks following the MRI scan on his hamstring yesterday, the Guardian has claimed.

‘Danny [Ings] came on and it was really refreshing to see him.
Benteke has managed two goals in six appearances to date, including an absolute stunner in the defeat at Manchester United, in a fairly low-key start to his Liverpool career after joining from Aston Villa. It was no fluke that he was able to get into the position and score.
Granted, Benteke is winning more aerial duels per game (8.5) than any other player in the Premier League this season, but a majority of these are due to clearances from defence, meaning the burly Belgian is left with little to work with in terms of goalscoring opportunities.
McAllister, who returned to Anfield in the summer as part of a backroom shake up, added: ‘Daniel Sturridge was another positive.
“Balotelli and Benteke are completely different players”, Barnes was quoted as saying by The Daily Star . The medical guys are aware here of his situation. “He’s taken on board the nuggets of information we’ve given him”. Jordan Henderson has come through his operation fine’.
John Aldridge has compared Danny Ings to Ian Rush after notching his first Anfield goal – and thinks Liverpool will soon climb the table.
Loads of good Liverpool FC content on the site over the last 24 hours but you’re all busy people, so here’s some of it gathered together in one handy place for you.
The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, was apparently not best pleased at the move – as reported by the Western Daily News. We have got them this Saturday.
