Are you looking forward to the all-female Ghostbusters film?

It’s now unclear whether or not Weaver will be reprising her original role, or playing a brand new character.

Since the “Ghostbusters” reboot franchise has not been released yet, the movie has been under rants and negative comments leading the director to fight back.

Most recently, Weaver starred in “Exodus: Gods of Kings” and “Chappie“, and is now in post-production with a film titled “A Monster Calls”.

“They might have us pop up as marshmallow men or something and then destroy us”, she said.

Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones will don the iconic boiler suits to fight slimy creatures and scary monsters. Thats right. With news about to leak regarding her involvement, Feig took to social media to spoil a cameo he tried to keep under wraps. “I said, ‘Well, only if I can play Slimer, ‘” she recalled. However, it is unknown if he will reprise his role as Winston Zeddemore.

At this point, the only remaining surprise left would be if they were somehow able to convince Rick Moranis to return to acting after leaving Hollywood behind in 1997.
