Porsche 911 GTS Rennsport Reunion Edition Revealed
The Porsche Rennsport Reunion – the event, not the auto – takes place this year from September 25 through 27, at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Salinas, California. The MSRP for the 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Rennsport Reunion Edition, which goes on sale immediately, is $148,335, not including the $995 destination charge.

The upcoming Rennsport Reunion Edition is now undergoing final stages of production and is expected to ship with a bundle of features similar to the GTS model including a red, black and gray color scheme all over.
But if you’re hell-bent on getting the limited edition 430hp GTS Rennsport Reunion that’s available exclusively with a manual gearbox reaching 60mph in 4.2 sec and a top speed of 190mph (305km/h), let’s see what you gain over the standard model for the price difference of a fairly well-equipped mid-size family auto.
Subtle highlights to the exterior include high-gloss black lower exterior trim on the side mirrors and satellite radio antenna. The LED headlights also have black accents.
On the inside, both the carbon fiber dash trim above the glove compartment and the illuminated door sill guards in carbon fiber display the designation of the special edition. Like the regular GTS the driver also gets the SportDesign steering wheel, door trims, and Carmine Red stitching. However, Porsche plans to build only 25 units of this upcoming 2016 model 911 Carrera, all of which will roll out within the US.
Special features for the interior also include 18-way adaptive sports seats, premium Bose audio, and rear park assist – all these come as standard with the vehicle. The center console is stamped with the automaker’s Rennsport Reunion V logo, which is what reminds the driver that he’s driving a special edition every time his eyes catch it.

At the core of this success is Porsche’s proud racing heritage that boasts some 30,000-plus motorsport wins to date.
