Here’s Samsung’s latest plan to lure people away from the iPhone
The functionality is also reportedly extending to budget Samsung Galaxy smartphones as well. According to a source within SK Securities, part of the SK Group which owns South Korean mobile operator SK Telecom, Samsung will showcase its Galaxy S7 smartphone in January 2016, and will commercially launch the device in February. In fact, it has raised the bar so high that when the Samsung Galaxy S5 came out a year ago with very little improvements from the Galaxy S4, it became Samsung’s biggest undoing. More specifically, it’ll cover the payments on a new Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, or Galaxy Note 5 until 2016.

It is expected also that Samsung devices from 2014 onwards will also be getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update when it rolls out anytime soon as well but it is unlikely that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will get it, at least officially that is. This update is crucial as it signifies the future rollout of Android M (Android 6.0) to the handsets.
Android 5.1.1 Lollipop is pegged at 660 MB, bringing with it a bunch of new features and enhancements in icons, user interface, connectivity, technical supports, and more.
AT&T owners are the only ones who are being brought up to date from Android 5.0.2, which is why the updates are roughly 670 megabytes.
There is some wonderful news coming in for those sporting the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy Edge phones.
At the same time, once you start the updating process, your device should have around 70% battery life left to be sure that it will not shutdown during the installation process. Once through, the user can just disconnect the Galaxy S4 and reboot it in Recovery mode.
