Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson says he would never support a Muslim candidate as president of the United States. They’re great people, unbelievable people, and most Muslims like most everything these are fabulous people, but we certainly do have a problem. Does anybody agree with me?

Dr. Carson has been near the top of the Republican field in nearly every recent poll, gaining on frontrunner Donald Trump.
Carson, a devout Christian, says a president’s faith should matter to voters if it runs counter to the values and principles of America.
The dispute marks a somewhat ironic twist for Trump, who himself landed GOP nominee Mitt Romney in a similar predicament in 2012 by raising a comparable line of questioning about whether President Obama was born in America.
“I talk about jobs, I’m talking about the military – I don’t get into it”, Trump said on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday. It’s called Muslims”, and “You know our current president is one.
Trump added that if he had challenged the man, the media would have “accused me of interfering with that man’s right of free speech”. “Before we answer, let’s clear some things up for the rest of the audience.’ And I think you have an obligation as a leader to do that”. Trump bristled at the notion that he should have said something in defense of Obama – who isn’t a Muslim, and who is American – complaining, “This is the first time in my life that I have caused controversy by not saying something. We’ll see”, he told “Meet the Press“.
Obama would not have done the same for him, said Trump. He also said Muslims were a problem in this nation.
Appearing via phone on several Sunday morning news broadcasts, Trump was pressed on his response to an anti-Muslim supporter in New Hampshire.
He defended his decision not to correct the man, saying, “It was a question that was asked in front of a totally packed house”.
Trump canceled a campaign appearance in South Carolina Friday.
Religion becomes a threat when it leads to radicalization, said Trump.
TRUMP: I mean, some people have said it already happened, frankly.
The billionaire businessman then tweeted “No chance!” that the president would “come to my rescue” if someone made a nasty statement about Trump.
