The cast for the next installment in the “Underworld” franchise has been expanding, and now there are some new younger vampires being added to the list. She was also Sherlock’s Irene Adler, Da Vinci’s Demons’ Clarice Orsini, and Karen Lord in Edge Of Tomorrow.
Den of Geek reported that the sequel is obviously not a reboot but, it tries to invite more fans to the franchise.
However, this will be the first time she will be appearing in a major Hollywood project. Lakeshore Entertainment is poised to continue the cult horror series next year with the as-yet-untitled Underworld 5 – rumors suggest it may be branded as Next Generation – bringing back series stalwart Kate Beckinsale once again for the role of Selene.
And now Deadline is reporting that Bradley James, of Merlin, iZombie and Damien fame, is to join the cast of Underworld 5. Theo James (Divergent) and Tobias Menzies (Game of Thrones) will also be featured in the upcoming movie.
Underworld: Next Generation begins filming in Prague next month.
The film will be directed by Anna Foerster from a script written by Cory Goodman. The fourth instalment of the franchise, titled “Underworld: Awakening” was released in 2012.

Lara Pulver’s role has been kept concealed yet. The movie is set for release on October 21st 2016.
