This video comes out of Midland, Texas, where kicker Luis Aranda lined up for an extra point and it did not go as planned.

In order to get a really good view, this referee got a little too close to the action in a recent high school football game.
In the film, published on You tube, you will see the sports struck the mediator inside the head well before you make it connecting the reviews. It’s the least he deserves for getting drilled int he face and having his hat knocked off.
There was a bit of confusion before the extra point was deemed good. He kicked the ball hard enough that it hit the referee’s head and still cleared the uprights.

For those who don’t know, football referees are actually considered a part of the field and thus this kick was legal … ish.
