Jose Mourinho makes thinly veiled attack on ‘crying’ Arsene Wenger as Chelsea

“We can not lose matches, we can not be below the expectations”. We have to meet the objectives.

Wenger feels the Italian does not perhaps get the credit he deserves for his achievements at Chelsea, having spent four years at the Stamford Bridge helm before being replaced by Jose Mourinho in 2004. Why it is this way?

“I was surprised because Arsene is a good manager and chooses good players, but maybe it’s not easy to play without Dennis Bergkamp, Thierry Henry, Freddie Ljunberg and all the defenders”, said Ranieri. I don’t have a theory.

“One or two situations in the game are very hard to understand when you watch it again but I am in a job where I sometimes have to swallow things that are not right and maybe our opponents do sometimes as well”. If I speak about the referee, I’m suspended. If I push a manager in the technical area, I am banned from the stadium. I’m on the other list.

“So, clearly, the facts are there”.

“I don’t see him as a tinkerman”.

In the fallout, Gabriel was given his marching orders, but Arsenal’s claim of wrongful dismissal has been upheld following an FA hearing, and as a result the player’s three-match suspension has been withdrawn with immediate effect.

“It just shows that they decided after the game what should have happened during the game”, Wenger said in reaction to the original red card being overturned, according to Goal.com.

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has admitted that his side are lucky that Gabriel Paulista has been handed one match ban following his defender’s FA charge of improper conduct. “The Blues” boss discussed the Soccer Association’s decision to ban Spanish striker, Diego Costa after the incident that happened in the game against Arsenal.

He and Wenger have a long history of bust ups.

Whether or not Mourinho was attempting to not brag about the strength of his team against the weakness of Newcastle United, there was little spoken about the club.

The latter was sent off in the match, but his red card was rescinded by the FA earlier this week. Some others, they cannot.

“I am in the list of those who are punished if they speak about the referees before the game”. There is an imaginary list of technicians who can criticize referees and another one that can’t.

He repeatedly declined to name the Frenchman, whom he referred to as “the king”, but it was clear who he was speaking about. Look at the team of Chelsea when he left: they all survived after and they all stayed after as well.
