A witness who saw the accident told TMZ that the crash happened when Fetty Wap was trying to overtake another vehicle.
Maxwell was later transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries by emergency personnel. The artist was driving a motorcycle and got hit by a auto.
Fetty Wap photographed in Los Angeles in August 2015.
The 25-year-old stands accused of driving without a license, not having insurance and failing to produce a vehicle registration card, according to the Associated Press.
Luckily, DJ Louie Styles was able to calm some fears when he shared an update on his close friend.
The accident comes at a really bad time for Fetty Wap as he just released his self-titled debut album on Friday (Sept. 25). In the video, Wap thanks fans for their support and revealed that he had broken his leg in three different places after the wreck.
“The hashtag “#PrayForFetty” soon began trending on Twitter.
Blanco said the rapper’s knack for melody is one reason for his success with songs like “My Way” and “Trap Queen“.

We’re glad to hear that Fetty Wap is recovering and hope that the other driver is able to return to good health soon as well. He’s now wearing an ocular prosthesis (glass eye) after he suffered from glaucoma as a child, and doctors were not able to save his left eye.
