Kenny Rogers feels like he would do it until he would embarrass himself and teased that things are getting harder for them now.

“I’ve had an incredible career”, Rogers said. When speaking about his retirement Rogers stated, “I’ve done this long enough”. Beginning on November 11th, 2015, he is launching his annual Christmas tour that will crisscross the United States and Canada, before wrapping up on December 23rd. Kenny Rogers announced he’ll be retiring on the “TODAY” Show September 25.

“I really want to be there with my kids”, Rogers said.

His 2016 forthcoming world tour is scheduled to be his last.

Throughout his decades-long career, Kenny Rogers released a series of chart-topping hits joining up with hit singers including Kim Carnes, Sheena Easton, the Bee Gees, and Dolly Parton.

After more than half a century in the music business, “The Gambler”, Kenny Rogers, knows when to fold ’em. If you count up all of his live and compilation work, it’s his 76th album overall, which we think is pretty incredible. “One will be called American Beauty, and it’s all waterfalls and handsome canyon shots”, he told the magazine. “My mobility is really driving me insane”.

And there’s another bit of good news for those who enjoy listening the 77-year-old country crooner – he has a new record out Friday. The LP features both standards and originals, with Alison Krauss, Jennifer Nettles and Home Free duetting with the country music legend.
