Sheldon arrives at Amy’s apartment to return some of her things, along with one of Penny’s bras, in a transparent attempt to make her jealous.

Whilst it seems as though Leonard and Penny’s relationship is still a little rocky, despite having just got married, it appears that her friendship with Bernadette could also be on the rocks pretty soon. Maybe his trip to San Francisco with Leonard and Penny on their honeymoon will offer some much needed time for reflection.
The recently-released teaser showed how Sheldon threw shade at Amy for breaking up with him. The official synopsis says that the theoretical physicist will create a new webisode of “Fun with Flags” to retaliate. In fact, she’s too anxious about Penny and Leonard to react when Howard mentions that he bought a “George Clooney Manscaping Kit”, which I presume he’ll use to shave batnipples into his chest hair.
In other news, Bernadette’s (Melissa Rauch) guilt about keeping a secret from Penny will consume her during the upcoming episode. Leonard, bearing the stress of 48 hours in marriage hell, unloads his emotional baggage on Mandy, who, as it turns out, slept with almost everyone on the ship. “I’m gonna kill him”, she says with passion. Bernadette adds that Leonard has shown time and time again that he wants to be with Penny, even when they now know he had an opportunity to be with someone else.
Sheldon decides to attack Amy’s character on Fun With Flags with a scathing episode that features flags from countries that have been torn apart and the women with whom Sheldon feels were responsible. Leonard learns that Mandy doesn’t even remember kissing him and that he wasn’t the only person she got involved with on the boat. Will she finally confess her secret despite knowing that Penny is already dealing with a big problem with her marriage?

At the end of season eight, Penny found out about Leonard’s infidelity whilst he was away working at sea on an expedition a couple of years ago. Amy rejects his proposal, and asks him to stop bothering her as they have broken up.
Episode two of “The Big Bang Theory” season nine is titled “The Separation Oscillation” and hints that the relationships that have gone sour won’t be easily fixed.

But Sheldon won’t be giving up the fight as he will go over to Amy’s place to deliver her things.
