Facebook down: social network buckles, across desktop, mobile and Android and
Users who logged on were greeted by a box saying: “sorry something went wrong”.

The social network is down for the third time in less than two weeks.
Alright, something wonky is going on at Facebook headquarters.
Newsweek reported this was the second outage in a seven days for Facebook, the first brief outage occurred on September 24. That’s unprecedented.
Others were also unable to access the Facebook app.
Facebook, which prides itself on not going down, experienced a stoppage on the evening of Thursday 24 September.
FACEBOOK is down again and appears to be unusable on all platforms.
Facebook could not be immediately reached for comment. We sent out a request today as well, though at this rate, we’re not expecting a reply. “We’re working with our core infrastructure teams to identify the issue and will update you when we have more information”.
However, it turned out that it was merely a Facebook fault that brought the site down.
