A week after its release, Apple has rolled out an update for iOS 9 that corrects various issues for the new operating system.

Protecting your iPhone with a PIN won’t even help in this case, because all the hacker has to do is enter the wrong PIN four times.

However, I suspect a majority of iOS 9 device owners doesn’t know of this easy solution.

What Apple users have begun to realize is that although the new iOS version did promise to eke out the battery life for at least another hour, the setting would still need to be manually checked, particularly after the update. For hackers to access the device, hackers can enter an incorrect code on the passcode screen until the device threatens to lock them out.

To hack is at its base a combination of keystrokes and button pushing that allow users to bypass security on any iOS 9 device.

The new operating system boasts numerous new features and enhancements, including updates to Siri that enable reminders of appointments, and a Notes app capable of creating checklists, allowing sketched drawings, and adding attachments.

You can ask Siri to pull up messages, phone logs, calendar, clocks, Safari and pretty much anything else your heart desires after the iPhone’s lock screen is breached. The passcode flaw, which was uncovered by Googler Jose Rodriguez, could compromise the stored photos and contacts in an Apple device, according to Apple Insider. With 3D Touch, Siri, iOS and the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, the tech giant keeps on advancing in a direction that everyone is looking forward to seeing. Tap on the time, and then make your way over to the World Clock tab of the resulting screen. The flaw appears to take advantage of a bug related to using Siri at the lock screen.
