Terror threat in Mumbai puts airport, Taj Hotel on alert
The Chhatrapati Shivaji worldwide Airport here has been put on high alert after airport authorities received a call informing that it could be attacked. It has been described as a “specific threat” and there is massive security and a bomb squad each deployed at all three locations.

Airport sources said that the call has been found to be hoax and the police are in the process of tracing the caller.
Security at both the domestic and worldwide terminals of CSIA was beefed up after the airport manager received a call around 11-45 p.m. on Monday. The caller, who has not been identified yet, made the call to the worldwide airport.
The incident comes on the eve of the quantum of sentencing for the 12 convicted for the 7/11 Mumbai serial train blasts, scheduled to be pronounced on Wednesday.
Taj Hotel is one of the targets for the Pakistani attackers.
