Man Paralyzed After Being Shot While Leaving Cardinals’ Game

Christopher Sanna – an Army veteran who manages an automotive store – and his girlfriend were walking to his auto after celebrating his mother’s 60th birthday with siblings at the Cardinals game when the couple was approached by a gunman who stepped from a dark-colored sedan and demanded their belongings. Two male suspects were inside the black sedan.
‘We watch every Cardinals game, ‘ Candis Sanna, who works in downtown St. Louis, told KMOV.
‘They turned to run away, but they didn’t make it very far, ‘said Candis Sanna to the St. Louis Dispatch.
The bullet went through Chris’ liver, spine, and lungs.
Her son is awake and in stable condition at a local hospital.
Chris Sanna’s mom shared this photo of her family enjoying the Cardinals game – just before Chris, center right, was shot.
Sanna’s mother, Candis Sanna, is relying on miracles for Sanna’s recovery.
