Bihar polls 2015: Lalu Prasad Yadav campaigns for younger son Tejaswi
In potentially damaging remarks for BJP ahead of the high-stakes Bihar polls, its MP R K Singh had yesterday alleged that party tickets were sold to criminals, a charge dismissed as “baseless” by the party but termed “exceptionally grave” by rivals.

On the money exchanging hands, issue he further asserted that the state people are definitely aware about the allegations and in the upcoming election pools, they would give a befitting reply to the NDA.
Not only this, a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader from Jharkhand, Rajendra Singh, has since been fielded from Dina assembly constituency as a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate.
Singh accused the party of neglecting the sitting MLAs and giving ticket to criminals. While Mr Choubey understandably wanted his son to get this seat as he wants to retain his hold over his old constituency, the BJP’s lone Muslim face in the state, Shahnawaz Hussain, pitched hard for a ticket for his protege but to no avail. Usually, it is the candidates who are denied tickets that tend to leave for greener pastures.
“In BJP, wherever there is ticket distribution, it is done fairly and after considering all aspects”.
The BJP on Friday dubbed Rahul Gandhi “spoiled child” of Indian politics and said the Congress was behaving with “complete irresponsibility” under his overall leadership. In its 1996 manifesto – for the election that brought the BJP to power for 13 days – the party promised “10 per cent reservation to the economically weaker sections of society…”
According to him, it was Nitish Kumar’s arrogance that made him see Modi as his “number one enemy”.
He said he disagreed that the BJP was a communal force and opposed to secularism.
“Every leader in Bihar needs to ensure that Jungle Raj part II doesn’t come and, at the same time, it is important that party discipline and restraint is maintained”, he said.
“The RSS has fully thrown its weight behind the BJP in Bihar polls”.
“RSS chief has suggested to review reservation policy and BJP can not ignore it. BJP- led government will change the constitution to end reservation to block the opportunity for development of the Dalits and backward classes”.

He also said family members of BJP leaders and criminals were given tickets at the cost of committed party workers.
