Rubio wants No Part of Trump’s ‘Freak Show’
“He had a really bad debate performance last week”. Eventually, the establishment strikes back and a Kerry benefits as the compromise candidate. The male candidates gave answers that ranged from their wives or mothers to foreign politicians to historical figures. I think, honestly, it’s a gesture.

They took (relatively) mild barbs at each other during last week’s presidential debate in California.
“If Trump is going after Marco, that means Marco is doing well”, Rooney said.
Christian Grose, a political science professor at the University of Southern California, said the issue is not absent from her strategy. The tea-party favorite, who attracted more campaign and super PAC money than Rubio through the end of the second quarter, also stands to do well with former Walker donors, Republicans say.
Trump shared the same sentiment during the GOP debate. I’ve said that repeatedly.
But then, we are talking about a guy who once proudly made a campaign theme out of his “gotcha!” assertion that a human fetus can’t turn into a donkey or a cat, so maybe we shouldn’t be surprised. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky), and former New York Gov. George Pataki (R) all appear to be playing from the Perry playbook of frequent Trump confrontations. He’s a sitting USA senator so why doesn’t he do something about it? “God, what is that hair? We’ve already seen several frontrunners in this race, and will likely see more”.
“No one talks about the men being in it to be veep”.
He also said of his remaining time in Congress: “I might have a little more cooperation from a few around town to try to get as much finished as possible”.
Among the candidates he is weighing: Carson and Fiorina.
There’s no question Bush can win (for a while, in fact, Clinton could too).
On Sunday, Rubios campaign sent out a press release declaring: Marco Dismisses New Poll Numbers, referring to a CNN survey that had him climbing to fourth place. (For the record, he said anything was possible).
He also defended his own escalation of the verbal sparring between the two contenders for the Republican presidential nomination when he called Trump “touchy”. He described Lowry as “incompetent” and “clueless”, demanded an apology from Fox News, and suggested that the Federal Communications Commission should fine Lowry.
In short, if your main goal is paying down the national debt, the Rubio-Lee plan is garbage. In typical Trump fashion, though, Trump insisted that “those weren’t boos, those were cheers”.

She called the president of China “shameless” on women’s rights. “She won’t be able to play the gender card”. By contrast, Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina have said they think the government should not play a role in mandating leave.
