Victor Valdes – six La Liga titles, two Copa del Reys and three Champions League winner’s medals.

Valdes is made to only turn up to training when the first-team are not around, meaning he spends most of his time at the Carrington headquarters in the afternoons, unless the majority of the first-team are in then.

However, he has now got on manager Louis van Gaal’s bad side when he refused to play for the reserves earlier in the summer.

Blues stopper Asmir Begovic has been deputising in the absence of preferred choice Thibaut Courtois, who is likely to be sidelined until December after undergoing knee surgery.
