“Montage of Heck” premiered on HBO earlier this year.

The recordings are aptly named after the documentary on which they were found, Montage of Heck. The soundtrack will also be available in deluxe and standard digital editions.

With the release of Montage of Heck, so followed a barrage of old bootlegs, undiscovered demos, and other miscellaneous recordings from both Nirvana and its former frontman Kurt Cobain.

On November 13, there’s also what’s called Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck Super Deluxe Edition, which packages the documentary on DVD and Blu-ray with the 31-track-CD and a cassette configuration of the soundtrack.

Released to rave reviews in April, Montage of Heck offers the result of unprecedented access granted to director Brett Morgen, who pored through reams of home videos, recordings, artwork and journal entries left behind by Cobain after his death on April 5, 1994.

The soundtrack will contain Cobain’s cassette recordings of early music with bits and pieces of songs, demos and even lyrics that eventually made their way into Nirvana’s music. The soundtrack will also be available in standard and deluxe digital editions. Following its initial global success, ABRAMORAMA re-launched Brett Morgen’s critically acclaimed documentary, Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck in select theaters across the country on August 7.
