The first episode of NCIS Season 13 finally resolved the issue of the survival of Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon).

Spoilers for “NCIS” season 13, episode 2 hint of a new look for Gibbs, which becomes the talk of the department. In the next episode, he will continue to make a few changes in his life in hopes of moving forward. In the second episode of NCIS Season 13, DiNozzio sees himself leading the group despite the presence of Gibbs. It’s looking ahead and really looking beyond the immediate and looking at the way that the job has changed and the types of cases that they face and the world of terrorism. “I don’t want to give away too much, but I think the audience will respond with great interest to a few of the tonal changes”.

In Season 12, Gibbs was shot, and fans immediately thought that he died. Get more details below.

“There are definite changes and adjustments to the Gibbs character in this near-death experience that he has”, he said.

Tension mounts between Gibbs and Tony this week on “NCIS” after the longtime colleagues left things at an impasse in their last conversation. In fact, DiNozzio went ahead and called out the NCIS leader on his personal attachment to the case – a move that did not do well for their already tense relationship.

Gibbs may have healed physically but the psychological effects of the incident has triggered something else and invited “old demons” to return. We’re not sure if the old Gibbs, the one that had a very specific dynamic with DiNozzo and other members of the team, will ever be back.
