In PoK, people demand freedom from Pakistan
The people in PoK are angry at the lack of development in the region. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader and former union finance minister Yashwant Sinha, on Wednesday urged the center to highlight the atrocities of Pakistan in PoK (Pakistan occupied Kashmir) and bring it in focus for the world to see.

It may be noted that CNN-IBN on 29 September exposed the real face of PoK where massive protests were held against the Pakistani government in Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Kotli. To top that, large human rights violations and illegal detentions will now question the grounds on which Pakistan has been claiming rights for Kashmiris. However, the video has evidently not gone down well with the neigbouring country.
Pakistan is commited to find a just and peaceful resolution to Kashmir dispute, Pakistan’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has said.
Aziz stated that Pakistan is persistent in extending political, moral and diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir in their just struggle for their inalienable right to self-determination.
Dikshit further said that Islamabad has always promoted terror in Jammu and Kashmir, and therefore, the voices of the people are being suppressed.

But as Pakistan tries to make a case for Kashmir, its own house in PoK seems to be in disorder. “As a result, more than 90,000 Kashmiris have been killed by the Indian Security forces over the last two decades in Indian Occupied Kashmir”, he said. They include 150 officers of the rank of major or above.
