Star UGA Football Player under Investigation by Athens Police
UGA wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie has been accused of making a terroristic threat towards a female, according to an Athens-Clarke County Police Department incident report obtained by the Red & Black. Only Isaiah McKenzie has been accused of making “terroristic threats or acts”.

The other players mentioned in the report – safety Dominick Sanders, wide receiver Terry Godwin, linebacker D’Andre Walker and safety Jarvis Wilson – are all listed as witnesses to the incident. Georgia is scheduled to host No. 13 Alabama on Saturday, October 3, so it’s possible we’ll have an update on McKenzie’s status prior to that contest.
The incident happened Monday night at the Chili’s on Alps Road.
However, officers sent to the scene saw no reason to arrest McKenzie and no charges were filed. They said they are aware of the allegation and won’t have a comment until they get more information.
This season for the Bulldogs, McKenzie has five catches for 89 yards as well as two carries for 36 yards.

Athletics director Greg McGarity told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution will comment at the appropriate time “if there’s anything to say”. The complaint was received at approximately 10:40 p.m. McKenzie also has a punt return for a touchdown.
