As the news of the latest “big-name” Twitter handle goes viral, Snowden’s follower count skyrockets by thousands every time the page is refreshed.

The former National Security Agency worker, who leaked classified documents about government surveillance, started tweeting Tuesday.
He is following only one account at the moment, the NSA. “Now I work for the public”, Snowden wrote as his description on the social media platform.
In his earlier hours on Twitter, Snowden exchanged tweets with outstanding astrophysicist and radio speak present host Neil deGrasse Tyson, who had inspired Snowden to attempt Twitter throughout an interview on his present this month.
KitGuru Says: Are there any particular questions you guys would like to ask Snowden? Do you think Uncle Sam will welcome Snowden?
Snowden has been living in exile in Russian Federation since June 2013.
Edward Snowden joined Twitter and guess who he made a decision to follow first: the NSA.
Snowden was hired by Booz Allen Hamilton, an NSA contractor, in 2013 after previous computer technology jobs at Dell and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Names like traitor. Snowden answered that they were mostly unimportant (including the good ones) and that he wouldn’t allow any of them to halt his progress.

“Snowden responded, “@neiltyson Thanks for the welcome. It also mentions his role as a director of the Freedom of the Press Foundation, a nonprofit organization “helping support and defend public interest journalism focused on exposing mismanagement, corruption and lawbreaking in government”. Tyson followed up on Snowden’s Mars mention: “Ed@Snowden, If you visit Mars, I’d bet any life forms there will greet you with a sip of that water and a tourist visa”. “Welcome to Twitter!” Tyson tweeted.
