House Speaker John Boehner, an Ohio Republican whose decision last week to resign was partly driven by the dispute over Planned Parenthood, said Sunday the House will set up a select committee to investigate the videos.
Supporters said the vast majority of work being done by Planned Parenthood does not involve abortion services, but the issue continues to overshadow the other services it provides.
Chaffetz was critical of the organization spending $32 million overseas when it’s demanding to keep its federal subsidy.
Chaffetz said that the group’s infusion of federal money lets it use its non-federal dollars for politics.

Providence resident Jessan Dunotis said she helped plan the demonstration to honor the legacy of Planned Parenthood as a champion of reproductive rights.
“That’s not exactly true”, Gosar said.
Richards addressed the videos when she addressed Congress, calling them “deceptively edited videos released by a group that is dedicated to making abortion illegal“. “We have discovered no evidence whatsoever to suggest that Planned Parenthood’s St. Louis facility is selling fetal tissue“.
