Just a while ago, Xbox One and the Xbox App on Windows 10 have been updated to add 12-person party chat. By simply using the menu button on the controller, any app or game can be pinned to Home, while also being able to launch a recently played game or quitting a game or app in the same fashion. In full screen mode, you can use this app to view your game clips and screenshot captures.
Finally, Microsoft has “combined the functionality of the Game DVR snap app and the former Upload app into one easy-to-use app called Game DVR”.
There’s also an updated menu for quick access to common actions.
Additionally, users can access new settings in the Guide.
The last addition are new settings within the Guide, including the ability to adjust headset volume or even be able to turn off or restart the Xbox One system from the Guide. Check out a few of the pics below (courtesy of JackFry on Imgur).
It should be noted that not all previewers will receive the updates at first.
According to Mike Ybarra, the Director of Program Management for Xbox, more invites to NXOE will happen soon. “Thanks for being patient as we develop this!” he says on Twitter.
The changes will be entirely linked to the server side of the platforms, and it seems that the feature will not be applied on mobile devices or on the Xbox 360. Those who have offered the most feedback Microsoft says will be the first to get the updates.

The New Xbox One Experience will be going live in November and brings a ton of different features including backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 titles. For the lucky ones that were chosen, a brand new update is now available for you.
