In the movie’s theatrical cut, Thor leaves the Avengers and joins Dr Selvig in an underground cave with a pool. And Thor (Chris Hemsworth) traipsing around a cave trying to figure out something or another that might have to do with Loki? “Thor is always the hardest guy to integrate”.

Channeling the Norns, Thor communicates their augury to Selvig, who asks how to stop the evil robot Ultron.
Alas, we’ll have to wait for Phase 3 to kickoff before we get anymore answers. In fact, the gag reel is almost as funny as the film. It’s fantastic when you think about it. Dark Knight had Heath Ledger’s Oscar winning Joker, and followed that with an epic performance from Tom Hardy as Bane.
Avengers: Infinity War will centre on these six stones, and will see Thanos presumably take on the Avengers to get back the mind stone. Whedon explains the cave scene was dramatically cut down because it didn’t test well with audiences.
