Pope Francis Sides With ‘Conscientious Objectors’ In Gay Marriage Debate
The Kentucky County Clerk announced Friday that she felt she had been abandoned by the Democratic Party, so she has changed her loyalty to Republican.

The Pope also reportedly presented both Kim and her husband with a Rosary.
According to an Associated Press article dated September 4, 2015, Kim Davis informed U.S. District Judge David Bunning her “conscience will not allow” her to follow federal court rulings on gay marriage.
But why are Republicans so quick to support Davis, when her past does not align with their views?
Kim Davis is at the center of same-sex marriage debate by refusing to sign a marriage license. No one had accused conservative activists of partisanship, so Davis’ party ties were largely irrelevant, but the fact that the anti-gay clerk was affiliated with Dems became a part of the story.
Thus, while not acquiescing on the fundamentals of Church doctrine, the pope managed to keep the bulk of his visit focused on the Church’s efforts to foster a spirit of inclusion and make it a more welcoming place, even to those who do not identify as Catholic.
ACLU of Kentucky spokeswoman Amber Duke said “there’s no legal basis” for the Whitley and Casey county clerks “to continue denying licenses to anyone that is eligible”. Francis said that “a Christianity which “does” little in practice, while incessantly “explaining” its teachings, is dangerously unbalanced”.
“Without him, none of this would have been possible”, the clerk said, “for he is my strength that carried me”.
If you’re looking for a safe, free and legal way to vent your frustration over Kim Davis and other anti-marriage equality bigots, you may be in luck.
And all things considered, this was probably the most sensible professional move Davis has made in quite a while. It was the Holy Father’s explicit request to visit a prison in Philadelphia, and he took the time to speak with each of the 100 prisoners he met on that occasion.
The meeting with the Holy Father was a moment of consolation to Kim.
Hence, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and Texas Sen.
“The challenges we face in America regarding the sanctity of human life, marriage, and religious freedom are the same universal challenges Christians face around the world”.

“He didn’t want to use divisive language … but at the same time it was pretty clear that he was denouncing radical Islam, that he was denouncing same-sex marriage”, Donahue said.
