Audi A4 & Q5 Admits To Cheating Too!
About 2 million of the 11 million diesel engines involved in the Volkswagen emissions scandal were manufactured at an Audi plant in western Hungary, Economy Minister Mihaly Varga told private broadcaster TV2 on Tuesday.

The affected models span the vast majority of Audi offerings, including the A1, A3 and TT hatchbacks, A4, A5 and A6 coupes and sedans as well as the Q3 and Q5 crossovers. No cars from China and Japan have been affected as of now. Other than the emissions problem, VW reminds us that these cars are roadworthy and technically safe. NOx emissions levels are much higher than the legal limit, and for example, if the EPA had known of this behavior it would have withheld the Certificate of Conformity required to sell those cars. The devices are being used to examine the engine during the vehicle test to find out the defects in the engine.
Dr. Herbert Diess, CEO of the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand stressed: “We are working at full speed on a technical solution that we will present to partners, to our customers and to the public as swiftly as possible”.
Suffering immensely since the news of diesel cars scandal broke, Automaker Volkswagen has made a decision tokeep a fewof its top officials away from core operations until the dark clouds are cleared. Nearly570,000 of the cars were sold in Germany.
“In the event of a United Kingdomrecall, the manufacturer should initiate contact with you”. The engine is internally called the EA189 diesel.
a fewowners are keen on laying claim on compensation, as they believe that the cars they bought have cost them more than promised in addition to being valueless in the second hand market now.
