Emergency services were called for rescuing a ‘squirrel’

The emergency services became ready to leave for the scene when the officials got a call asking for a crew to ‘attend to someone hurt in hit-and-run’ in Epping Forest, Essex.

But when the officials asked little more about the accident, the unknown caller said that it was squirrel.

After a little more talk, they found out that the call was just a time waiting call.

Spokesman from the department later said that recently they had received another call, who said “I’ve dropped my burger and it is bleeding”.

He added “We would strongly urge people who think it is funny to make a prank call to stop and think about the potential consequences”.
