Steve Smith Praises AJ Green For His Stellar Play Against The Ravens

Only five 0-3 teams have ever made the playoffs.

For whenever Baltimore plays Pittsburgh, records notwithstanding, the Ravens will always have a chance to win the game. The Steelers, however, will be without starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who is out with a knee injury. “John Harbaugh, he’s a sweetheart”.

“We’re a very confident football team”, Harbaugh said. “We feel like we can overcome any adversity”. We have before. We will again. I don’t care what walk of life you’re in, you are going to go through tough times. “We’re either going to find solutions to these problems or not, and we’re either going to stick together or not”. “We just have to keep feeding them the ball and let them do their thing”.

GROUND TO A HALT: Among the Ravens’ many flaws this season is the lack of a running game. Baltimore responded with a 16-yard touchdown from Flacco to Steve Smith.

Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson might have been wondering, too, but he’s been listening to Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis, a member of the National Football League competition committee, backing the officials’ call. While the offense’s fourth-quarter explosion will get the praise for this win, the run defense was just as important to solidifying the victory. The only other player to accomplish that was Hall of Famer Darrell Green, who did it 19 years in a row with the Washington Redskins.

Baltimore has struggled so far this season, but they get a great opportunity on the road when Michael Vick may be forced to start for Pittsburgh for TNF.

But there hasn’t been a single glaring issue throughout the first three games. He missed the entire second half. “We’ve got a lot of games to win in order for him to reach that”. He has been running routes and even participated in practice last week.

Hill had another unusual game being limited to 12 carries for 21 yards, he did not fumble but he was limited to 26 out of the 77 offensive snaps the Bengals played.

“That’s what I’ll do (Monday) with (wide receivers coach) Bobby (Engram)”. He then bent over in apparent pain, but was able to walk back to the sideline. Harbaugh did not provide an update at his Monday press conference.

Sunday marked the fifth consecutive regular season game Dalton has thrown multiple touchdown passes, the longest such streak in the league. Steve Smith Sr. went absolutely wild on Sunday catching 13 balls for 186 yards and two touchdowns. “It’d be nice if we did it one time before he retires”. Against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, the Ravens managed just 36 rushing yards on 18 carries, averaging two yards. Despite the huge game the Ravens still came up short.

He’s completing 66.3 percent of his passes with eight touchdowns and one interception.

Not surprisingly, the Steelers (2-1) see it as a big challenge as well, as they are still showing the Ravens the requisite amount of respect that any rivalry would dictate. Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap said.

Still, counting on Smith to be a one-man offense is not what the Ravens want or need.

As if attending the funeral for their own season, Ravens players filed quietly into the home locker room at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon. It’s another adjustment the team failed to effectively make.

They are off to their second consecutive 3-0 start, a first for that franchise, after handing San Francisco a 47-7 throttling in which they intercepted two of Colin Kaepernick’s first four passes and returned them for touchdowns.
