Besides its Nexus phones, Google also began selling upgrades to its Chromecast video-streaming device and a new Chromecast model that can be plugged into speakers to play music from a phone or an Internet service.

Google specifically say that the keyboard attaches without a “docking mechanism” with the idea that it’s much quicker and more seamless to switch between laptop and tablet modes.

The Mountain View, Calif.-based company is expected to launch two new smartphones that will update its Nexus 5 and the larger-screen Nexus 6.

The 6P will start at $499 for the 32GB and will start shipping out to customers in October unlocked and without a contract.
