Cheryl Fernandez-Versini claims being overweight is unhealthy – weeks after

The X Factor judge, who is married to Frenchman Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, has opened up about their relationship during a cover shoot with British InStyle magazine.

Cheryl said: “It’s insane double standards”. You’d never be allowed to say to somebody, “Oh, you look a bit fat”.

However she admitted there was nothing new in the comments, adding: ‘You know what?

After switching her high fashion looks for an off-duty dressing gown, Cheryl revealed that one of her biggest pleasures is something we can ALL relate to; taking that bra off at the end of a long day.

“The body shaming has to stop“, she continued.

Cheryl and Rita Ora also found themselves on opposing sides with boyband The First Kings’ version of Just Be Good To Me, originally sung by The SOS Band.

“I’m actually livid over this bulls***”, she then tweeted.

Cheryl told the magazine she is fed up of the skinny jibes, hitting out at those who critique her body. Every young person needs to understand that.

Cheryl, who is known for getting weepy on the ITV talent show, also promised: “I’m going to be tougher this year”. The former Girls Aloud bandmember confessed that sometimes she worries about the effect these will have on her fans, describing the focus on her figure as “body shaming”. Dressed in her now iconic military-inspired outfit, Cheryl wowed audiences and made her detractors eat their words with her rendition of “Fight For This Love”.
