Starbucks’ new mobile order and pay service makes it dangerously easy to slot a quick coffee into your daily commute.

Now only available on iOS, the system will draw up a list of nearby stores with approximate wait times, with an average waiting time of three to five minutes.
The UK Starbucks app now lets you pre-order your brew, ready to take away upon arrival.
USA customers have enjoyed this new function since last, but United Kingdom coffee lovers have hitherto only been able to pay for their order in store – and earn points – rather than order ahead.
The Memo will be trying out Starbucks queue jumping app this afternoon and we’ll update when we know more. According to Starbucks, the app typically saves morning commuters a few 10 to 15 minutes in their working day.
The service is available from today to iPhone users of the Starbucks app based in and around London, with the company planning an Android launch in the near future.
Users will be able to order anything the coffee shops sell including customised drinks and the ability to modify size, number of espresso shots, dairy selections and more including food.
After a trial in one secret location previous year and a roll out to all USA cities earlier this month, now mobile ordering is coming to all London stores from Thursday.
