Oilers F Eberle out 4-6 weeks
The team announced that 25-year old Eberle, drafted 22nd overall by the club in 2008, will miss 4-6 weeks with shoulder surgery following the hit.

The 25-year-old said Wednesday morning he was frustrated by the injury.
“But there’s definitely a bright side”. “Better to happen now than later in the season”.
It will be tough to be out of the lineup on opening night of the 2015-16 regular season, Eberle said, not to mention the other games he will miss.
The Oilers begin their season against the Blues in St. Louis on October 8.
The numbers at Condors training camp swelled to 33 on Wednesday as all of the players who were reassigned to the team by Edmonton earlier in the week have made their way south to much warmer climes.
The Oilers roster now sits at 28 players (3 goaltenders, 10 defensemen, and 15 forwards).

“Darnell has to play a lot, lead that team, so when he gets the call, and he will, he’ll be ready”, Oilers coach Todd McLellan said in a tweet by the Oilers.
